So if a phobia of some type kicks off the symptoms or a situation such as a large crowd, by knowing, you can then act and avoid the certain situation that brings an attack on allowing you to prevent a panic attack happening.

But, this isn’t always the case and some things cannot be avoided. If you find you cannot avoid the source you can take steps to try and control the attack.
To help control this you can try and take your mind elsewhere quickly. This can be a hard skill to master but helps anxiety and panic attack sufferers across the globe do it everyday. Some like to take a cold drink of water or have hot cup of tea allowing the mind to focus on something different.
Others go to extremes like running around the house or whistling their favourite song. These small panic attacks tips can seriously take your mind elsewhere allowing you to squash the feeling and panic when it comes on.
As with everything though, the best way to cope with panic attacks is always to try and treat the problem from the root. Thankfully anxiety and panic attacks can be treated and cured.
